The Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science (BSEd-Science) program, offered by the Department of General Teacher Training, is designed to prepare competent science educators with a solid grounding in scientific concepts and pedagogy. Anchored on the outcomes set in CHED Memorandum Order No. 75, series of 2017, the program aims to: (1) demonstrate deep understanding of scientific concepts and principles, (2) apply scientific inquiry in teaching and learning, (3) utilize effective science teaching and assessment methods, and (4) manifest meaningful and comprehensive pedagogical content knowledge of the sciences.
