About the BSFi Program

The Bachelor of Science in in Fisheries (BSFi) is a four-year degree program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills in the sustainable management, conservation, and utilization of aquatic resources. It covers core areas such as aquaculture, capture fisheries, fish processing, aquatic ecology, fisheries biology, and fisheries policy and management. The program integrates scientific research, hands-on training, and community-based approaches to develop competent fisheries professionals who can address food security, promote environmental stewardship, and contribute to the growth of the fisheries sector locally and globally.
